Rep. Issues Statement to Recognize Pipeline Historical Marker Dedication

WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- Rep. John Shimkus, R-Illinois, issued the following statement entered into the Congressional Record to recognize the dedication of an Illinois State Historical Society marker for the war emergency pipeline, which began near Texas oil fields and ended in Norris City following its 1943 completion during World War II:
