WASHINGTON, Nov. 15 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Earlier this week, the Houston City Council approved $24 million in federal funding that will go towards the East End Maker Hub, a startup hub in the Texas 29th Congressional District.
The hub will allow businesses that spur innovation to lease collaborative working space out of a 300,000-plus-square-foot warehouse in Houston's East End. TXRX Labs and the Urban Partnerships Community . . .
