WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:

Today, H.R. 3224, the Deborah Sampson Act, passed the United States House of Representatives by an overwhelming margin. This critical legislation addresses long-term biases against female veterans by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
