WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Department of Energy (DOE) through the Office of Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Solar Energy Technologies Office has awarded $4.5 million to the University of Toledo to provide power at any time and in any season by developing high-efficiency solar panels and investigate techniques for depositing a thin layer of film on panels that can be scaled . . .
