WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury's U.S. Mint issued the following news release:
The United States Mint today announced the appointment of Dr. Lawrence S. Brown to the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) as a member representing the interests of the general public in the coinage of the United States.
This appointment for a statutory term of four years will fill the vacancy on the CCAC created by the term expiration of Erik Jansen.
