LOS ANGELES, California, Nov. 12 -- The St. Baldrick's Foundation issued the following news release:
The St. Baldrick's Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, has awarded 25 infrastructure grants totaling nearly $1.5 million to institutions across the country. These one-year grants are focused on giving the selected institutions the ability to open, coordinate and treat more children on clinical trials, often their best hope for a cure.
