Rep. DeFazio Raises New and Serious Concerns to FAA About 737 MAX

WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, issued the following news release:

Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR), and Chair of the Subcommittee on Aviation Rick Larsen (D-WA) sent a letter to Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Stephen Dickson questioning the way the FAA made decisions on two safety-related items with potentially catastrophic consequences: rudder cable protection on the Boeing 737 MA . . .
