WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Rep. Albio Sires, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Albio Sires (D-NJ), Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, Civilian Security, and Trade, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, urging him to fully utilize the tools available under U.S. law and consider additional sanctions against Nicaraguan officials who have committed serious human rights abuses:
