WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Rep. Albio Sires, D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, Civilian Security and Trade, issued the following statement regarding a report released by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Democrats, which showed that 2020 election considerations influenced the Trump Administration's decision to end temporary protected status for nearly 400,000 individuals from Haiti, Honduras and El Salvador:
