WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics issued the following statement by Executive Director Noah Bookbinder on a judge's order that President Trump pay $2 million as part of a settlement with the New York Attorney General's Office over malfeasance with the Trump Foundation:
"More than three years ago, we first drew America's attention to Donald Trump's illegal operation of his eponymous charitable foundation for his own personal and political benefit.
