N.J. U.S. Attorney: Bronx Man Sentenced to 30 Months in Prison for Theft of Government Property, Aggravated Identity Theft

NEWARK, New Jersey, Nov. 7 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Craig Carpenito, issued the following news release:

A Bronx, New York, man was sentenced today to 30 months in prison for his role in a scheme to obtain and ultimately cash more than $1 million in fraudulent income tax refund checks issued by the United States, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
