WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 -- Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Arizona, chair of the House Natural Resources subcommittee on Indigenous Peoples, issued the following statement in response to the White House announcement that President Trump is proclaiming November as National American History and Founders Month sidelining the long-celebrated Native American Heritage Month:
