WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 -- Reps. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, House Judiciary Committee, and Zoe Lofgren, D-California, chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship, issued the following joint statement after President Trump signed the Presidential Determination on Refugee Admissions, setting a record-low refugee admissions level of 18,000 for fiscal 2020:
