WACO, Texas, Nov. 4 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
Union's (N.Y.) 31-21 victory over then-No. 7 Ithaca (N.Y.) moves them up to No. 17 in the AFCA Division III Coaches' Top 25 Poll. With a halftime score of 17-14 favoring Union, the Dutchmen controlled the second half, only giving up one score. Union snapped the Bombers' nine-year win streak against them, and hand Ithaca their first loss of the season. Union looks to move to 9-0 on the season . . .
