WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- Rep. Mark Green, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
The National Park Service recently announced $2.4 million in grants from the American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP) to protect three significant battlefields in Tennessee threatened with damage or destruction from suburban development. Grants have been awarded to the Shiloh Battlefield in Tennessee's 7th District, as well as to the Stones River Battlefield in Murfreesboro and the Jackson B . . .
