WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. Scott DesJarlais, R-Tennessee, issued the following statement:

Today, Congressman Scott DesJarlais, M.D., voted against House Democrats' resolution to protect the secret, partisan impeachment inquiry Nancy Pelosi is pursuing to distract from her party's socialist agenda, weak presidential candidates, and a federal investigation of Obama Administration corruption. Tennessee's Fourth District representative issued the following statement:
