WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following statement in reaction to the Treasury Department announcement of Opportunity Zone reporting requirements:
"Requiring taxpayers to prove they're actually following the rules of the Opportunity Zone program is a positive first step, but it's one that should have been taken two years ago, instead of prioritizing rules to let the Treasury secretary's cro . . .
