WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, and Chris Murphy, D-Connecticut, issued the following statements after the enactment of their Senate resolution recognizing October as Dyslexia Awareness Month:

Cassidy said:

"One in five Americans has dyslexia. Increasing dyslexia awareness assists our schools in identifying it earlier, which means getting resources to students in need sooner."
