WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:
Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) introduced the bipartisan Prison Accountability Act, which makes the Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons a Senate-confirmed position, strengthening accountability and oversight to the federal prison system.
