WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today questioned Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan on his views and role in the Trump-Ukraine scandal. The Senator's questions came as part of a committee hearing considering Sullivan's nomination to be Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
