CHICAGO, Illinois, Oct. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics - Midwest Regional Information Office issued the following news release:
Gasoline prices averaged $2.796 per gallon in the Chicago-Naperville-Elgin area in September 2019, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Assistant Commissioner for Regional Operations Charlene Peiffer noted that area gasoline prices were down 19.4 cents compared to September 2018 when they averaged $2.990 per g . . .
