WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- Reps. K. Michael Conaway, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Agriculture Committee, and Austin Scott, R-Georgia, ranking Republican member of the Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy and Credit, issued the following remarks on the passage of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission reauthorization bill (H.R. 4895):
