WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. French Hill, R-Arkansas, issued the following statement on the House passage of the Protect Against Conflict by Turkey Act:
"I agree with President Trump that if Turkey fails to honor the negotiated ceasefire in Syria, then the United States has the right to reimpose crippling sanctions.
"While Turkey may be a treaty ally within NATO, they are not acting like a friend to the United States, nor should we treat them like one.
