WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. Jim Himes, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement after the release of a House resolution directing certain committees to continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House inquiry into whether sufficient grounds exist for the House to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach President Trump:
