Rep. Olson Works to Include USA in World Expo

WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. Pete Olson, R-Texas, issued the following news release:

Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) today joined with a bipartisan group of members to pass legislation that paves the way to invite the international World Expo to Houston in 2027. The bill, H.R. 4842, the Expositions Provide Opportunities Act, ensures a United States presence at the World Expo in Dubai in 2020 to showcase America -- in particular Houston -- as a potential future venue for this global event.
