CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Ryan K. Patrick, issued the following news release:

A former Coahuila, Mexico, governor is set to appear in federal court to face charges for his role in a money laundering scheme to enrich himself and others through bribery, misappropriation and theft of public funds, announced U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick.
