WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement after Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died during a military raid in Syria led by the U.S.:
