WELLINGTON, Florida, Oct. 25 -- The city of Winter Haven issued the following news release:
Downtown Winter Haven has won the 2019 Great Places in Florida People's Choice Award by the American Planning Association - Florida Chapter (APA). After a call for nominations earlier this fall, the APA selected six places in the state of Florida as finalists. From there, the finalists were voted on by the public.
Some of the criteria to be considered as a Great Place by the APA . . .
