WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) voted to pass H.R. 4617, Stopping Harmful Interference in Elections for a Lasting Democracy (SHIELD) Act, a bill she co-sponsored, which requires campaigns to report offers of assistance from foreign actors to the FBI. The bill passed the House, 227 to 181.
