WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- The House Science, Space and Technology subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics, and subcommittee on Environment issued the following statement by full committee Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, at a joint hearing entitled "Space Weather: Advancing Research, Monitoring, and Forecasting Capabilities":
