Sen. Sinema Urges Protections for Arizona's Tomato Imports

WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:

Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema urged the International Trade Commission to allow Arizona's tomato trade to continue without unnecessary restrictions.

Sinema wrote a letter to the Commission underscoring the economic impact of Arizona's tomato imports. Arizona's tomato trade with Mexico supports 33,000 American jobs and is critical for Arizona's economy.
