HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 21 -- The Baylor College of Medicine issued the following news release:
Dr. Margaret "Peggy" Goodell, chair of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine. She is among 100 new members, including 10 international members, announced today at the Academy's annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
