OLYMPIA, Washington, Oct. 21 -- Gov. Jay Inslee, D-Washington, issued the following joint statement with New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on the Trump administration's attempt to limit the states' authority to protect water quality:
"We strongly oppose the Trump administration's unlawful attempt to limit the authority of states to protect our water resources under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. This administration has repeatedly abdicated their federal responsibility to prote . . .
