WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following statement after the death of ex-Michigan Gov. William Milliken:
"The state of Michigan has lost a statesman. Governor Milliken lived a life of service as a World War II veteran, an elected official, and our state's longest-serving Governor.
