WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Oregon, chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, issued the following news release:

Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) sent letters to Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and Lyft CEO Logan Green pressing them for answers on critical safety, labor, and regulatory questions.
