NEW YORK, Oct. 17 -- The National Employment Law Project issued the following statement on the death of Rep. Elijah Cummings:
"The National Employment Law Project (NELP) joins the nation in mourning the death of Congressman Elijah Cummings.
"Rep. Cummings was that most-special kind of leader who stood up strongest, without reservation, for the fundamental rights of everyday workers and their families, and for racial and economic justice.
