ALBANY, New York, Oct. 17 -- Albany Medical Center, an academic health sciences center, issued the following news release:
Edward J. Wladis, M.D., has been appointed Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Albany Medical College and Chief of Service for Ophthalmology at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. Wladis joined Albany Med in 2008 and has held progressive roles within the Department of Ophthalmology, serving most recently as Professor and Interim Chair.
