WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, issued the following statement after voting against the Democrats' prescription drug legislation:
"We can all agree that prescription drug prices are too high, and all of us know someone who is struggling to afford the high cost of a lifesaving treatment.
"However, giving government bureaucrats the power to set prices will stifle innovation and limit access to these very same lifesaving drugs.
