TUCKER, Georgia, Oct. 16 -- The U.S. Poultry and Egg Association issued the following news release:
USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation announce the completion of a funded research project at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, in which researchers found alternatives to maceration of day of hatch male layer chicks. The research was made possible in part by an endowing Foundation gift from Sanderson Farms and is part of the Association's comprehensive research prog . . .
