WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 -- Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statements after the Senate confirmed Charles Eskridge to fill a judicial vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston:
