MIDLAND, Michigan, Oct. 17 -- The Mackinac Center for Public Policy issued the following news release by David Guenthner, senior strategist for state affairs, after the Michigan Legislature passed the bipartisan legislation that will stop the state from automatically prosecuting 17-year-olds as adults:
