University of Arizona: Could Near-Infrared Light Give Aging Brains Boost?

TUCSON, Arizona, Oct. 16 [TNSgrants] -- The University of Arizona issued the following news release:

With support from a grant from the National Institute on Aging, researchers will test a novel intervention that uses near-infrared light to enhance brain functioning.

A team of researchers from the University of Arizona and University of Florida are investigating whether near-infrared light could help enhance cognition and reduce Alzheimer's disease risk in older adults. . . .
