WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 -- Rep. Jim Himes, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement after House passage of the resolution (H.J.Res 77) opposing the decision to end U.S. efforts to prevent Turkish military operations against Syrian Kurdish forces in Northeast Syria.
