WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement after a bipartisan resolution passed the House that opposes the Trump administration's decision to pull troops from northern Syria and the Turkish military incursion that followed:
"The Kurds have been critical partners in the fight against ISIS.
