HARTFORD, Connecticut, Oct. 10 -- Rep. John B. Larson, D-Connecticut, chairman of the House Ways and Means subcommittee on Social Security, issued the following statement after the Social Security Administration announced that there will be a 1.6 percent cost-of-living-adjustment for Social Security benefits received beginning in January 2020:
