LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, Oct. 14 -- The University of Arkansas System issued the following news:
University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) Chancellor Karla Hughes, Ph.D., today announced that she will be stepping down from her role and retiring from the institution effective Dec. 31.
Hughes has led the campus since she was appointed by University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt in January 2016.
