WACO, Texas, Oct. 14 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
Northwest Missouri State started the game against Pittsburg State off slowly, going three and out in their first two possessions, but rattled off 28 straight points to take a commanding lead and never looked back, beating their conference rival 38-17. The Bearcats stay at No. 7 in this week's AFCA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll, but with the loss, the Gorillas fall six spots to No. 19.
