WACO, Texas, Oct. 14 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
Concordia (Mich.) erased a 20-point deficit against Saint Francis (Ind.) to knot the game at 27-27. With a chance to win the game on a field goal in the final seconds, the Cardinals' kick was blocked and returned for a touchdown to give Saint Francis a 34-27 win. The loss dropped Concordia six spots to No. 10 while Saint Francis moved up one to No. 7 in this week's AFCA NAIA Coaches' Top 25 . . .
