NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Oct. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Tennessee Field Office issued the following news release:
Corn production in Tennessee is forecast at 161 million bushels, unchanged from the September forecast and up 39 percent from the previous year. Yield was estimated at 175 bushels per acre, unchanged bushel from last month and up 7 bushels from the 2018 level. Acres for harvest as grain were estimated at 920,000 ac . . .
