Sen. Scott Issues Statement After Peace Corps Ignored Demands to Get Out of Communist China

WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 -- Sen. Rick Scott, R-Florida, issued the following statement after Peace Corps Director Jody Olsen refused Scott's request to terminate all Peace Corps programs in Communist China by Oct. 1 and use those resources to help the Bahamas:
"I'm disappointed that the Peace Corps ignored my request to get out of Communist China.
